Place as a brand must integrate and express its identity, its values, and attributes. We aimed to clearly define the unique character that distinguishes this territory from others while maintaining its authenticity. Being distinguished in the competitive tourism landscape is crucial, in an era in which we are all connected and competition is growing every day, including between countries, cities or regions. Our campaign strategy featured unique events, heritage, landmarks, and actions focused on conquering visitors. We wanted the campaign to resonate well, be memorable and inspire people to visit Britain. The power of place branding is in its ability to inspire to help communities, cities, countries, and destinations distill and articulate their unique strategic positioning and differentiating characteristics and move people to participate and take action.
